Located at the corner of Banna and Jondaryan Avenues, the Griffith Tourism Hub is your gateway to exploring Griffith's rich cultural heritage and diverse attractions. Staffed by friendly locals, the Hub offers comprehensive information on local events, accommodations, dining options, and activities such as walking and cycling trails, national parks, lookouts, lakes, wetlands, birdwatching, and various tours. The gift shop features an extensive selection of regional produce, including olive oil, balsamic vinegar, jams, honey, relishes, sauces, nuts, olives, prunes, and other sweet treats. Ready-made regional produce hampers are available, or you can customize your own—the perfect gift for friends and family. The Hub also offers Griffith merchandise and Australiana giftware. An interpretive display narrates Griffith's evolution, highlighting the influence of indigenous tribes, Italian migrants, returned soldiers, and multiculturalism on the city's development. A seven-minute visual presentation provides a snapshot of all that Griffith and the region have to offer. Before leaving, don't miss the magnificent stained-glass window depicting the view over Griffith from the Hermit's Cave Lookout at Scenic Hill. This artwork features the Dethridge water wheel, symbolizing the area's irrigation system and produce. Local artist Sam Di Fiore, along with the community, dedicated time and talent to bring this artistic icon to fruition in August 2003.
