Griffith Aboriginal Community Centre

Located at 5 Wiradjuri Place in Griffith, the Griffith Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) serves as the primary representative forum for the local Aboriginal community. Established on December 31, 1983, the LALC is dedicated to reclaiming crown land and returning it to the community, fostering a reconnection with and stewardship of Wiradjuri country. The council actively collaborates with government organizations to enhance education and employment opportunities for Aboriginal residents. Additionally, the Griffith LALC is involved in infrastructure development projects, such as the Roads to Home initiative, aimed at upgrading civil infrastructure at the Threeways Aboriginal Reserve.
