Grenfell Painted Silo by Heesco

Located at 42 West Street, Grenfell, NSW 2810, the Grenfell Commodities Silos are a testament to the region's rich agricultural heritage. In 2018, Melbourne-based artist Heesco Khosnaran transformed these historic 1925 silos into a vibrant mural depicting the contemporary farming industry and the Weddin Shire's landscape. The artwork features sheep, cattle, native birds, and the Weddin Mountains National Park. Completed over five weeks, it utilized 800 spray cans and 130 liters of acrylic paint. The mural is best viewed from the corner of South Street and West Street.
