Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre

Located at 98-100 Emu Bay Road in Deloraine, the Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre serves as a gateway to Tasmania's Meander Valley. Open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, it offers a range of services, including accommodation and tour bookings, free maps and brochures, and a gift shop featuring local crafts and gourmet foods. Visitors can also access public toilets, RV camping permits, and Spirit of Tasmania ferry bookings. The centre houses the Deloraine and Districts Folk Museum and Yarns Artwork in Silk, showcasing the region's rich heritage and artistic talent. Entry fees are $10 for adults, $8 for concessions, and $20 for families. The museum is open daily from 9:30 am to 4 pm, with guided tours available every half hour.
