The Great Valley Trail, starting at Pioneer Park in Harrietville, is a 16-kilometer, fully sealed, family-friendly path that extends the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail to the base of the Alps. Following the Ovens River, it offers a flat route suitable for both road and mountain bikes. Along the way, cyclists can enjoy scenic views and visit local attractions such as Gunadoo Berries, the Mountain Fresh Trout and Salmon Farm, and Alpine Perennials. The trail is open to mountain bikes, e-bikes up to Class 1, hikers, and trail runners.
