GrainCorp Sheep Hills Silo Art

The GrainCorp silos at Sheep Hills, built in 1938, feature a vibrant mural by Melbourne-based artist Adnate, completed in 2016. The artwork portrays Wergaia Elder Uncle Ron Marks and Wotjobaluk Elder Aunty Regina Hood alongside young community members Savannah Marks and Curtly McDonald. Set against a night sky, the mural symbolizes the transmission of wisdom and cultural traditions from Elders to the younger generation. This piece is part of the Australian Silo Art Trail, celebrating Indigenous culture and community heritage.
