GrainCorp Lascelles Silo Art

In mid-2017, Melbourne-based artist Rone transformed the 1939 GrainCorp silos in Lascelles, Victoria, into a striking mural depicting local farming couple Geoff and Merrilyn Horman. The Hormans, born and married in Lascelles, have deep roots in the community, with their family farming in the area for four generations. Rone's artwork captures their wisdom and enduring connection to the land, integrating seamlessly with the silos' concrete tones. This mural is part of the Australian Silo Art Trail, celebrating the region's heritage through large-scale art.
