Googs Lake Campground

Googs Lake Campground, nestled in the northeastern corner of Yumbarra Conservation Park along Googs Track, offers a serene retreat amidst rolling sand dunes. Accessible by 4WD only, the campground features unallocated sites suitable for tents and off-road camper trailers, accommodating up to 50 vehicles. Amenities include three picnic tables and a toilet near the west entrance of the lake. Campfires are permitted, subject to seasonal fire restrictions. The area is renowned for its rich biodiversity, including malleefowl, sandhill dunnarts, kangaroos, southern hairy-nosed wombats, and dingoes, making it an ideal spot for birdwatching and wildlife observation. Please note that access is via 4WD only, and the campground is unpowered.
