Goldfield Trail Head

The Goldfield Trail Head marks the beginning of a 19 km historic path through Wooroonooran National Park's lush rainforest. This trail crosses picturesque creeks and ascends a low saddle between Queensland's two highest peaks, Bartle Frere and Bellenden Ker. The trail is accessible by conventional vehicles, with parking available at both ends. Camping is permitted at the Mulgrave River camping area, located halfway along the trail, offering a serene spot beside the river. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing, and cycling along the trail, immersing themselves in the park's natural beauty.
