Glendevie Orchards, established in 1939, is a family-owned farm located on the banks of the Huon River in Tasmania's Huon Valley. The farm offers a variety of fresh fruits, including apples and cherries, available for purchase at their Shed Door outlet on the Huon Highway in Waterloo. The Shed Door is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm during the cherry season, which runs from mid-January to mid-March. Additionally, Glendevie Orchards provides seasonal employment opportunities for up to six months, from November to May, for tasks such as thinning apples and picking cherries and apples.
