Nestled in a 10-hectare park-like setting, the Glen Innes Showground features a suite of architect-designed, Federation-style buildings surrounding a central arena. Established in 1874, it hosts the annual Glen Innes Show, showcasing regional arts, crafts, livestock, and equestrian events. The grounds offer shaded camping areas suitable for tents, caravans, and motorhomes, with facilities including 46 toilets, 18 hot showers, and amenities for large rigs. The showground is also home to the town’s annual campdraft and show-jumping carnival and provides more than 400 powered van sites for the Australian Celtic Festival.
