Narooma, NSW

At the southern end of Narooma's Surf Beach, Glasshouse Rocks stands as a remarkable geological feature, dating back between 510 and 440 million years. These imposing formations are among the most photographed sites along the Eurobodalla coastline. Visitors can access the rocks via a steep dirt track from the Surf Beach car park, best approached at low tide. The area also offers a display of igneous pillow lava at the northern end of the beach, formed by ancient submarine volcanic activity. Please note, the path to the rocks is not signposted and may not be suitable for young children or those with mobility impairments.
