Located along Merrindie School Road in Giles Corner, South Australia, the Giles Corner Monument commemorates the area's rich history. In June 2016, a memorial was erected by the roadside to honor the legacy of the former Wesleyan church and school hall that once stood here. The church, built in 1867–8, was a significant community hub until its final service in 1959. The monument serves as a tribute to the area's heritage and the community's enduring spirit.
