
Giles Conservation Park, located approximately 10 km east of Adelaide, offers a serene retreat into the Adelaide Hills. Established in 2007, this 109-hectare park was once part of the larger Horsnell Gully Conservation Park. Visitors can explore diverse walking trails, including sections of the Heysen and Yurrebilla trails, which wind through the park's rugged terrain. The park is home to native wildlife such as Western grey kangaroos and koalas, and features remnant native vegetation. The park is classified as an IUCN Category III protected area.
