Nestled along the Alpine Way in Kosciuszko National Park, Geehi Hut is a historic stone structure built in 1952 by the Nankervis brothers for grazing and fishing. Constructed from river stones with a concrete and dirt floor, the 11m by 9m hut comprises three rooms and features a chimney and fireplace. Accessible by car, the area offers ample camping opportunities near the Swampy Plain River, with facilities including picnic tables, fire rings, and non-flush toilets. The hut serves as a starting point for the Geehi Huts walking track, a 6km return trail that showcases additional historic huts and stunning views of the Snowy Mountains.
