Garden Island Sands Beach, located at the mouth of Garden Island Creek in Tasmania's Huon Valley, is a serene 400-meter stretch of white sandy shoreline. The beach features a 5-meter wide high tide sand strip, fronted by 100-meter wide sand flats, and is bordered by steep wooded slopes rising to 200 meters on either side. Two rows of houses back the beach, with Lowes Road connecting to the highway, which parallels the creek and crosses it 1 km north of the beach.
