Frenchman Peak, also known as Mandooboornup, is a prominent granite outcrop in Cape Le Grand National Park, Western Australia. The 3 km return trail features gravel paths, wooden boardwalks, and exposed granite, leading hikers to a large cave near the summit, believed to have formed 40 million years ago when sea levels were higher. The steep ascent rewards climbers with panoramic views of the park, the southern coastline, and the islands in the Recherché Archipelago. Visitors are advised to check for alerts and road closures before visiting.
