Fossil Dig Site Public Toilets

Located approximately 12 kilometers north of Richmond, the Fossil Hunting Sites offer enthusiasts a chance to unearth ancient marine fossils from a time when the area was submerged under a shallow inland sea. Accessible via fully sealed roads, these sites are equipped with basic amenities, including a public toilet, shelter, and picnic table at Site 1, situated on the right side of the Richmond Woolgar Road. Visitors can obtain fossil hunting permits, maps, and guides from Kronosaurus Korner in Richmond. Please note that camping is strictly prohibited at these sites.
