The Fluted Cape Walk in South Bruny National Park offers a captivating circuit through diverse landscapes, including dry sclerophyll forests and coastal cliffs. The 4 km return journey to Grass Point is a Grade 2 walk, suitable for most ages, featuring a hardened or compacted surface with gentle hills and occasional steps. Beyond Grass Point, the trail ascends steeply to Fluted Cape, a 272-meter dolerite sea cliff, rewarding hikers with breathtaking views of the Tasman Peninsula and the surrounding coastline. This Grade 4 walk is recommended for those with bushwalking experience. The track is well-signposted, and information boards along the way provide insights into the area's rich history, including remnants of the 19th-century whaling industry. Access to the trailhead is via Adventure Bay Road, with parking available at East Cove. Please note that a valid parks pass is required for entry to Tasmania's national parks.
