Fisherman Beach

Fisherman Beach, also known as Great Keppel Beach, is a picturesque stretch of white sand on Great Keppel Island, Queensland. The gently curving shoreline is framed by swaying palm trees and meets the calm, warm waters of the Coral Sea. The beach is bordered by a sandy point in the north, which curves 0.7 miles (1.1 kilometers) down toward the reefs in the south in a sweeping arc. Visitors can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and diving in the clear waters, exploring the vibrant coral reefs teeming with tropical fish and turtles. The beach is conveniently located near resorts, bars, and restaurants, offering a laid-back atmosphere for relaxation and adventure. Access to Fisherman Beach is via ferry from Rosslyn Bay Harbor, followed by a short walk to the beach.
