
Fisherman Bay, located just 5 kilometers north of Port Broughton on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula, is a coastal community renowned for its traditional shacks lining the foreshore and streets. With approximately 400 houses situated on fish-themed streets such as Mullet, Snapper, Garfish, Whiting, Snook, and Trout, it offers a unique charm. Visitors can enjoy activities like walking and cycling trails, fishing, crabbing, and swimming. The Snook Road Nature Walk, a 6-kilometer flat trail suitable for all walking levels, passes through mangrove forests and samphire shrublands, showcasing native birdlife and flora. The area provides stunning views to the Southern Flinders Ranges and Mid North to the east and northeast, and west to Shag Island and Spencer Gulf. Fisherman Bay is also known for its annual Easter Races held on Easter Sunday.
