Fernhook Falls, nestled in Mount Frankland South National Park, offers a captivating natural retreat along the Deep River. In winter, the river cascades powerfully over granite boulders, creating a frothy spectacle, while summer transforms the area into a serene swimming spot at Rowell's Pool. Visitors can enjoy a 1 km loop trail with wheelchair-accessible boardwalks, picnic areas with free gas barbecues, and a campground featuring eight tent sites and two huts. Canoeing is popular during the whitewater season from July to October. Access is via unsealed roads from either the South Western Highway or North Walpole Road.
