Explore & Develop Waitara offers a nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, fostering imagination and exploration through meaningful experiences. Conveniently located near Waitara Public School, Waitara Train Station, Hornsby Hospital, and Westfield Hornsby, the centre provides high-quality education and care. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, the play-based curriculum supports early literacy, numeracy, communication, social-emotional growth, and physical development. Sustainable practices are embraced, with outdoor areas featuring established gardens, citrus trees, strawberry patches, bush tucker gardens, and seasonal vegetable beds, encouraging hands-on learning and a connection to nature. The transition to school program builds confidence and familiarity with the school environment, including visits to local primary schools. Experienced educators, many with over five years of service, speak multiple languages, enriching the learning experience and celebrating cultural diversity. Nutritionally balanced meals and snacks are prepared onsite daily, using high-quality ingredients. The centre operates Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and is open 50 weeks a year.
