
Ewens Ponds Conservation Park, located 10 kilometers east of Port MacDonnell, features three interconnected freshwater springs, each approximately 10 meters deep. The park is renowned for its exceptional water clarity, allowing visibility up to 80 meters, and is home to unique aquatic life, including the rare Ewens Pygmy Perch. Visitors can enjoy snorkeling and diving through the shallow channels connecting the ponds, with water temperatures ranging from 10-15°C. Annual closures for snorkeling and diving occur from September 1 to November 30. Facilities include a car park and public toilets.
