Eungella National Park

Eungella National Park, located approximately 80 km west of Mackay in Queensland, Australia, is renowned for its rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes. As one of the longest and oldest stretches of subtropical rainforest in Australia, the park spans over 51,700 hectares and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the endemic Eungella honeyeater and the elusive platypus. Visitors can explore over 20 km of walking tracks, ranging from short family-friendly walks to the extensive 56 km Mackay Highlands Great Walk. Camping facilities are available at Broken River and Fern Flat, offering a serene environment to immerse in the park's natural beauty.
