Ethel Wreck Beach Lookout, located in Innes National Park on the Yorke Peninsula, offers panoramic views of the 450-meter-long Ethel Beach. This sandy surf beach is renowned for the rusted remains of the Norwegian ship Ethel, which ran aground in 1904. A walking track along the bluff provides stunning vistas of the beach and offshore islands. A steep staircase descends to the beach, where visitors can observe the shipwreck up close. Swimming and surfing are not recommended due to strong rips and waves averaging one and a half meters.
