Emu Park Surf Lifesaving Club, established in 1956, is a cornerstone of the Emu Park community, dedicated to ensuring beach safety and fostering a vibrant surf culture. The club operates patrols on Saturday afternoons and Sundays from mid-September through to Labour Day, with extended hours during peak seasons and school holidays. Members, starting from age 15, engage in various surf sports, including surf boat rowing, swimming, board and ski paddling, ironman and ironwoman events, and beach sprints and flags. The modern clubhouse, situated at the northern end of Main Beach, features a large deck and kitchen facilities, making it an ideal venue for functions and community gatherings. Recent enhancements have improved accessibility, including the addition of beach matting and a specially designed wheelchair, ensuring that all community members can enjoy the beach environment.
