Situated at 1 Elwood Foreshore, Elwood VIC 3184, the Elwood Scouts Water Activity Centre offers a vibrant setting for Scouts and Guides to engage in water-based adventures. The centre is equipped with a variety of sailing dinghies, canoes, paddle-boards, and safety boats, providing ample opportunities for participants to experience activities on Port Phillip Bay. Regular Water Activities Days are organized, featuring a mix of dinghy sailing, canoeing, paddle-boarding, and beach activities, catering to individuals aged five and above. The centre also offers programs tailored to meet badge level requirements across all sections and can arrange special activity days for Regions or Districts. Facilities include a first aid room, BBQ, kitchen, and sleeping accommodations, ensuring a comfortable environment for all attendees. Bookings are essential, with a preferred minimum of 20 participants. Parking fees apply in the council car parks, which are the only parking available for participants or their transporting parents.
