Elmore Memorial Hall

The Elmore Memorial Hall, located at 63 Hervey Street, Elmore, VIC 3558, is a historic venue that has been a cornerstone of the community since its completion in 1924. Designed to honor local World War I servicemen, the hall features a unique reinforced concrete structure, a rarity in the area. Its original movie projector box remains intact, reflecting the hall's early adaptation to cinema. Today, the hall serves as a vibrant hub for community events, dances, balls, and performances, seamlessly connecting with the adjacent Athenaeum Hall and Supper Room through a glass vestibule. This complex is recognized as one of the largest hall complexes in regional Australia, preserving three generations of halls on their original sites.
