Elaine Windfarm, located in the Shire of Moorabool, Victoria, is a significant renewable energy project that contributes to Australia's clean energy future. The wind farm comprises 60 turbines, divided between the Yendon and Elaine sites, with 38 turbines at Yendon and 22 at Elaine. Collectively, these turbines have a generating capacity of approximately 228 MW, enough to power 95,000 homes annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 780,000 tonnes each year. The Elaine site connects to the network at the SP AusNet Elaine Terminal station, integrating seamlessly into the region's power infrastructure.
