
Nestled adjacent to the historic Fitzroy Football Club Grandstand, the Edinburgh Gardens Community Room offers a versatile space with city skyline views. Its 15 x 9-meter wooden-floored area accommodates up to 100 guests, ideal for formal and semi-formal events, meetings, and workshops. The room features a small commercial kitchen equipped with a fan-forced electric oven, gas stove top, large refrigerator, freezer, microwave, pie warmer, and an electric urn. Furnishings include three rectangular tables, nine oval tables, and 100 chairs. Wheelchair accessibility and accessible parking are available. Please note, all functions must conclude by 10 pm Sunday to Thursday and by 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. As the venue is situated in a residential area, noise levels must be monitored, and late-night parties with music may not be accepted. Guests are required to supply their own cutlery, crockery, glassware, and linen. While you may choose your own caterer, a list of recommended caterers can be provided upon request. The venue is adjacent to an oval where sporting matches are frequently scheduled over the weekend. Please be aware that this is not a licensed venue; if you intend to sell alcohol, you must apply for a temporary limited licence. If you wish to supply alcohol free of charge or allow your guests to bring their own alcohol, you must submit a Partysafe form to Victoria Police.
