Ecocrackenback 2 is a self-contained chalet nestled in Crackenback Valley, offering a serene retreat amidst local flora and fauna. Designed with sustainability in mind, it features cross-ventilated living spaces, raked ceilings with fans, and abundant natural light. The chalet boasts polished concrete heated floors and a clean-heat ethanol fireplace, ensuring warmth during snowy winter nights. Large floor-to-ceiling windows and a back deck provide picturesque views of the rural setting. Amenities include a Weber BBQ and outdoor dining area for summer months. Conveniently located, it's a 10-minute drive from Jindabyne, 20 minutes to Thredbo, and 10 minutes to the Ski Tube, which offers access to Perisher and Charlotte's Pass. A heated drying rack in the entryway allows guests to dry ski gear after a day on the slopes. The chalet accommodates up to four guests, with one king bed and two single beds. Additional features include instantaneous gas hot water, Wi-Fi, a communal laundry, and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Smeg convection microwave/grill, double hotplates, and a Smart TV. Sustainability practices encompass a worm farm system for greywater management and food waste, rainwater collection, recycling bins, water-efficient taps and showers, insulated walls and ceilings, double-glazed windows, solar panels, and green spaces on the property.
