Located in the historic Old Boulder Power Station on Hamilton Street, the Eastern Goldfields Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich history of Western Australia's Eastern Goldfields region. Established in 1946, the Society boasts an extensive collection of over 60,000 photographs, rare books, manuscripts, and artifacts that chronicle the area's development from the 1890s to the present. Visitors can explore these resources, participate in workshops, attend lectures, and join excursions to significant historical sites. Open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm, the Society welcomes all who share an interest in the region's heritage.
