Durras Lake Discovery trail

The Durras Lake Discovery Trail is a family-friendly 1.5-kilometer loop in Murramarang National Park, offering a leisurely walk through majestic spotted gums and rare rainforest remnants. Along the trail, children can enjoy stepping stones, a lookout tower, and a log walk. Informative displays highlight the forest's history and early logging practices. The area is ideal for wildlife and birdwatching, with sightings of crimson rosellas, New Holland honeyeaters, kangaroos, and red-necked wallabies. Visitors can also join the Lake Walk for additional views of Durras Lake or enjoy a picnic under the spotted gums.
