The Durack River, spanning 306 kilometers in Western Australia's Kimberley region, originates below the Durack Range and flows northward into the west arm of Cambridge Gulf. Its basin encompasses 4,088 square kilometers, with an average annual discharge of 408,400 megaliters. The river is named after Michael Durack, the first European to cross it in 1882. The traditional owners of the area are the Kitja, Ola, and Wilawila peoples.
