Operated by the Goldfields Historical & Arts Society, the museum features local photographs, mining equipment, firearms, gold nugget replicas, and genealogical records. Notably, it houses a replica of the "Welcome Stranger," the world's largest alluvial gold nugget discovered nearby in 1869. The museum extends almost the full depth of the block, offering a comprehensive exploration of the area's past. Admission is $4 for adults, with children admitted free. Opening hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that these hours may vary due to limited volunteer availability.
