Drummond Cove Beach, located approximately 12 kilometers north of Geraldton, is a serene 1.3-kilometer-long west-facing beach sheltered by a chain of patchy reefs extending a few hundred meters offshore. The beach is narrow and backed by the northern end of the Sunset Beach transgressive dunes. The expanding Drummond Cove housing estate extends for about 1 km in amongst the backing dunefield, with the northern houses separated from the beach by a narrow foreshore reserve. There are six car parks and two areas for beach boat launching along the usually low-energy beach. Vehicles are permitted to access the beach from the southern car park to drive out to beach WA 1091.
