Nestled within Dowerin's Recreation Grounds, the Dowerin Memorial Swimming Pool is a 50-meter Olympic-sized pool surrounded by lush grassed areas. Amenities include a well-stocked kiosk, playground, and BBQ facilities. The pool operates from November to March, welcoming visitors daily from 12 noon to 7 pm, except Tuesdays. Early morning lap swimming is available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 6:30 am to 7:30 am. Thanks to generous local donations, entry is free for the remainder of the 2024/2025 season. Season passes are available at the Shire Office.
