Located in the historic Old Fire Station at 6987 Huon Highway, Dover, the Dover Community Workshop is a vibrant, not-for-profit venue that fosters community engagement through a variety of activities. Open to all, it offers woodworking and metalworking sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, arts and crafts by appointment on Wednesdays, and hosts community events like group barbecues and Christmas parties. Supported by the Tasmanian and Australian Men’s Shed Associations, as well as Huon Aquaculture, the workshop provides a welcoming space for skill-sharing and social connection.
