Denmark Historical Museum

Housed in the historic 1923 Denmark Police Station, the Denmark Historical Museum showcases the region's rich heritage. The museum's extensive collection includes over 1,000 artefacts, 4,000 photographs, maps, and vital records, offering insights into the area's history since 1829. Displays feature items from the timber industry, pioneer settlement, and Group Settlement Scheme. Visitors can explore exhibits on early farming tools, household items, and photographs capturing daily life. The museum also offers research facilities and a selection of publications for purchase. Open Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday afternoons, with additional hours by appointment.
