
Nestled at the northern end of Manly Boat Harbour on Norfolk Point, Darling Point Sailing Squadron offers a prime location for off-the-beach dinghies and skiffs, providing easy access to the picturesque Waterloo Bay. Established in the 1920s, the club has a rich history and continues to thrive as a volunteer-run community organization. It hosts regular Sunday sailing sessions during the summer season (September to April) and monthly sailing during the winter season (May to August). The club offers a range of sailing courses for all ages, including the Tackers program for children aged 7 to 12, and the OutThere Sailing program for teenagers aged 12 to 17, all conducted by qualified Australian Sailing instructors. For adults and teens, the Start Sailing course provides a comprehensive introduction to dinghy sailing. The club also hosts various events, such as the Winter Series and the Battle for Waterloo Regatta, fostering a vibrant sailing community.
