Dark Point, a rocky headland in southern Myall Lakes National Park, holds deep cultural significance for the Worimi people, having been a gathering place for over 4,000 years. Visitors can access the site via the Dark Point walking track, which leads through coastal dunes to the headland, offering fresh coastal breezes and sweeping views across to Broughton Island. The area features traditional burial sites and middens, reflecting its rich Aboriginal heritage. To protect the environment, vehicles must remain on the beach and are not permitted to drive over the headland.
