Embark on a 2 km return journey along the Dark Point walking track in Myall Lakes National Park, near Hawks Nest. This moderate-grade path, taking approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes, traverses coastal dunes and historic middens, leading to the headland overlooking Broughton Island. The area, also known as Little Gibber, holds deep cultural significance for the Worimi people, who have gathered here for over 4,000 years. Visitors are encouraged to respect the rich Aboriginal heritage by not removing any relics or artefacts.
