Danggali Conservation Park, located approximately 346 kilometers from Adelaide, is renowned for its vast mallee scrubland and rich biodiversity. As Australia's first Biosphere Reserve, it offers habitat to numerous bird species, including Major Mitchell's cockatoo and the rare mallee fowl, making it a haven for birdwatching enthusiasts. Visitors may also encounter red and western grey kangaroos, shy echidnas, and various small reptiles like skinks. The park provides five self-sufficient bush camping sites accessible only by 4WD vehicles or adventure motorcycles, offering a true outback experience. Please note, there are no facilities available, and camping fees apply.
