Built in 1891, the Cuballing Tavern is a historic establishment that has evolved over the years, previously known as the Cuballing Pool Hotel, Bullara Hotel, and the Cuballing Hotel. The original seven-roomed structure was replaced in 1905/06 with a single-story brick building, incorporating the old kitchen and laundry, along with three cellars in the foundations. In 1912, a second story was added, featuring eleven bedrooms and exterior walls made of local bricks, adorned with two elaborate pediments bearing the name and construction date. In 1989, owners Fran Craig and Peter Patterson made extensive changes, including a delightful barbecue area and beer garden. The original brick-built kitchen and laundry are still in use, one as a store room and the other as a cool room.
