Situated on the Le Fevre Peninsula at North Haven, the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia (CYCSA) is a premier yacht club offering a diverse range of sporting and social activities. Established in 1973, the club boasts over 1,200 members and features a marina with approximately 580 berths. Its location is conveniently close to Semaphore, Port Adelaide, and West Lakes. The CYCSA offers various membership categories, including Senior, General, Racing, and Social memberships, catering to a wide array of interests. The club also operates the only accredited Australian Sailing and Royal Yachting Association training academy in South Australia, providing internationally recognized courses. Hospitality is a highlight, with the Admirals Bistro serving locally sourced, seasonal cuisine in a relaxed setting overlooking the marina. The club hosts numerous events throughout the year, such as Opening Day, Crabbing Day, Italian Night, and the Commodore’s Dinner, fostering a vibrant community atmosphere.
