Perched on a headland at the mouth of the Shoalhaven River near Culburra Beach, the Crookhaven Heads Lighthouse offers a glimpse into maritime history. Established in 1904, this white brick lighthouse stands 7 meters tall, with a focal height of 22 meters, guiding vessels with its quick-flashing white light visible up to 15 kilometers away. Visitors can access the site via a short hike through the bush from the parking area at the north end of Prince Edward Avenue. While the tower is closed to the public, the surrounding grounds are open, providing scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere.
