Housed in the historic 1876 Creswick Town Hall, the Creswick Museum showcases the town's rich heritage. The building's architectural highlights include a basalt staircase and a wrought-iron cantilever balcony. Exhibits feature early colonial paintings by artists like Moyle, Tibbits, and Burkitt, as well as works by the Lindsay family, including Lionel and Daryl. The Mining Room commemorates the 1882 Australasian No. 2 Mining Disaster, Australia's worst mining accident, with artifacts such as a lunch pail bearing a miner's farewell message. The museum operates on Saturdays, with the Research Centre open from 11 am to 3 pm.
