Cranbrook's Pink Lake is part of a chain of salt lakes north of the Stirling Ranges, situated along an ancient waterway. These naturally salty lakes contrast with the freshwater wetlands of the Upper Kent catchment. Located approximately 15 km from Cranbrook's town centre, the lake lies on private land adjacent to the Great Southern Highway, just before Pootenup Road. While there is no designated stopping area, the lake's unique pink hue is best appreciated as you drive past.
