Corryong, VIC

Located at 50 Hanson Street, the Corryong Visitor Information Centre offers visitors comprehensive insights into the Upper Murray region. The friendly staff and volunteers provide up-to-date information on local attractions, accommodation, tours, shopping, and dining options. A highlight is the life-sized bronze statue of Jack Riley, the inspiration for Banjo Paterson's "The Man from Snowy River," situated at the entrance. Adjacent to the statue, an interactive recording of the poem adds to the experience. The centre operates daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, except on Christmas Day and Anzac Day morning.
